Fun Despite the Heat! 🌞🧊🏛️

Visiting in August meant facing some serious humidity, and with no air conditioning, it was a challenge to fully soak in the museum’s wonders. But let me tell you—every moment was absolutely worth it! 👕 Dress Smart, Stay Cool My top tips for a summer visit: Wear light, breathable clothing – think cotton or linen Choose comfortable shoes – you’ll be doing a lot of walking 👟 Travel light – avoid heavy bags Bring water and a handheld fan – your new best friends! 💧🪭 🎟️ Book Ahead & Beat the Crowds Even though entry is free, I highly recommend booking your ticket online in advance. The queues can get very long, especially in peak season—don’t waste your energy standing in the sun! 🐫 Start with the Assyrian & Egyptian Galleries I always begin my visit in the Assyrian & Egyptian galleries – they’re the most spectacular in my opinion 🐍🔺. Starting here helps you see the best before museum fatigue (or the heat!) sets in. 💫 It’s All Wonderful Yes, it was hot. But the art, the history, the atmosphere—it’s all so incredible that you’ll quickly forget the sweat and focus on the splendor. #SummerMuseumTips #BeatTheHeat #FreeMuseum #PlanAhead #LondonInAugust
