🌄 Fushimi Inari
I'm going to lay my cards on the table: the secret to taking beautiful photos in Japan with no people in them is... “Be the earliest, go to the most remote places, and venture out in the hottest (or coldest) places...” ✅ My route takes about 1 and a half hours ➡️ Catch the 7 am train, walk from Inari Station all the way to the Fushimi Inari Main Hall, don't rush to take photos, do it on the way back ➡️ Arrive at the starting point of the Senbon Torii, it's going to be crowded, so walk up quickly, pass by Okusha Worship Place, take a quick look and snap some photos, the scenery further up is pretty similar ➡️ The further you go, the fewer people there are, and the photos you take will turn out great! ➡️ I spent an hour walking slower and slower as I went higher up, the views are actually fantastic up there! ✅ In the morning, this place is a giant oxygen bar in the forest ➡️ Although we came in January during the coldest time, Kyoto's climate isn't piercingly cold, the air in the forest is crisp and very comfortable ➡️ On the way back, you can choose to walk the forest path; if you continue along the Senbon Torii, you'll encounter a ton of tourists coming towards you ➡️ Eventually, you'll end up back near the main hall at Tamada Inari Shrine, with the dog statues ➡️ For me, coming too early had its downsides, after all, I left at 8:30 am and all the shops were still closed. ✅ Transportation ➡️ From Kyoto Station, it's a 5-minute ride to Fushimi Inari's train station, and the rest of the way is on foot ➡️ The station is also styled like a torii gate, very picturesque, after all, as Japan's most famous torii spot, Fushimi Inari takes the lead without hesitation. #FushimiInari #Kyoto #KyotoTravel #OsakaTravel #JapanTravelGuide #Chiikawa #SpiritAndBodyOnTheRoad #KyotoHotels
