In Iceland, you can enjoy ice cream all year round! 🍦This particular gelato shop seems to have been popularized by "Sisters Who Boldly Go," as most of the customers were Chinese tourists looking to recreate the experience. During my visit, only one other Caucasian couple came in, and they also seemed to be tourists. 🍬Liquorice Flavor:🍬 Liquorice is a unique Icelandic flavor. The shop offers over a dozen flavors, including combinations of chocolate and liquorice, as well as various fruits with liquorice. Personally, I find the taste of liquorice quite strong, similar to licorice tablets but even more intense. However, when paired with dark chocolate, it becomes more palatable. 🍫White Chocolate:🍫 This flavor is very sweet and highly recommended, especially when combined with other flavors in a two or three-scoop cone. It balances well with other tastes.🍦 Tips: The shop offers both cup and cone options. Naturally, I recommend the cone for better photo opportunities. A three-scoop cone is quite substantial. We started at the shopping street and didn't finish it until we reached the iconic cathedral.
