Gent Michelin Chef Fries Frites Atelier

Frites Atelier is a fries shop opened by three-Michelin-star chef Sergio Herman. 🍟 It has five branches in the Netherlands🇳🇱 and Belgium🇧🇪. We visited the Gent branch, where the queue was super long. 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️ The decoration is very stylish. If you didn't know, you might think it's a suit shop. 🎩 The fries are freshly fried. While waiting in line, you can see a young guy busily frying the fries. 🔥 After ordering at the ordering area, you will be given a pager. Once you have the pager, you can find a seat outside or upstairs. 📵When the pager beeps, you can go to get the fries. 🍟 ⚠️ If you pay in cash, there is no change. 💰 Remember to prepare enough small change or pay by card. We ordered the special menu for spring and summer 2022. 👉 Sea Noir There are two types of sauces on it, spicy sauce and tartar sauce. The tartar sauce is a bit greasy, while the spicy sauce has a bit of spiciness. 🌶Dip in tartar sauce first and then in spicy sauce. 👍 The nori sheets are super crispy but very few, just two pieces. 🥬👉 Parmesan & Basil When we were in line, we saw many people ordering this. We thought, this must be a popular dish! 🔥 We definitely had to give it a try. 🤫Parmesan cheese is grated into fine crumbs and sprinkled on the fries. 🧀The basil in the basil mayonnaise has a strong flavor, which is a natural plant taste that people won't dislike. It feels like fresh basil is made into a sauce. It seems that the ingredients of this shop are very fresh. The tomato powder doesn't taste like tomato🍅. I thought it was shrimp powder. 😂 The portion is quite large and abundant.
