Germany Travel | Must-See Museums in Berlin 🇩🇪

Last year, I visited Berlin and explored the museums on Museum Island. This time, I spent an afternoon at the Humboldt Forum—an absolute treasure trove! The third floor houses the Asian Art collection, featuring exhibits from China, Japan, Korea, India, Persia, and the Silk Road. Most of the Chinese artifacts were likely looted during the Eight-Nation Alliance period. The collection includes Qing Dynasty imperial items, meticulously preserved and displayed with clear descriptions. Some pieces were marked as "lost during WWII," with only photographs remaining. Highlights: 🏛️ Emperor Kangxi’s throne and screen from the Palace of Heavenly Purity 🏺 Shang and Zhou Dynasty bronzes—exquisitely preserved 🖼️ A rare Shen Zhou painting, "Passing Through the Storm by the Stream" 🇨🇳 Stunning porcelain and bronzes—any single piece could be a centerpiece in a regional museum 🕌 Kizil Caves artifacts (from Xinjiang), excavated under the guise of "research" (more on this in a separate post!) The curation is impeccable—interactive guides, well-planned routes, and insightful short films enhance the experience. #Germany #Berlin #MuseumAdventures #ExploreWithMe 🏛️✨
