Gifu Castle, my favorite spot on this trip. πΊπΏπ After getting off at JR Gifu Station or Meitetsu Gifu Station, you can see the golden statue of Nobunaga. Take the bus N13/N40/N32 to Gifu Park, and once you get off, πΊπΏπ you'll see Gifu Castle on the mountain with especially beautiful red leaves at the foot of the mountain, which I highly recommend. π Take the cable car up the mountain (round trip for 1200 yen), πΊπΏπ and don't forget to get the Nobunaga Four Castles stamp at the donjon (first get the postcard at Kiyosu Castle). π― You can also feed the squirrels on the mountain (500 yen, πΊπΏπ with a discount for the round-trip cable car ticket), which is a very interesting experience. πΏοΈ In Gifu Prefecture, you can taste the famous Hida beef. πΊπΏπ I recommend the Hida Beef Ichitousya Bakuu Ichidaiki, located next to Gifu Station. π #GifuCastle #TravelTips #HidaBeefclose to GifuStation πΈπΊπΏπ
