The Shirakawa - go in Japan looks so much like the Hemu Village in Xinjiang! 🛖 🍃🌸 Takayama / Shirakawa - go: The Perfect Day - Trip from Nagoya 🌿 🌟Takayama and Shirakawa - go are probably the best places for a day - trip around Nagoya. Even without traffic, it takes over two hours to get from Nagoya to Takayama. 🍃🌸The old streets of Takayama are quite similar to San - nen - zaka in Kyoto. When I visited, it was a Monday, and many shops were closed for the day, which was a bit disappointing. 🌟However, the Hida beef in Takayama was absolutely incredible! You have to make time to try it! You'll regret it if you don't! 🍖 It's about a half - hour drive from Takayama to Shirakawa - go. The entire village is so picturesque and full of atmosphere. 🍃🌸 The weather was great, and the scenery was perfect for photos. 🌟Every snapshot felt like a postcard! After 5 p.m., the village clears out all tourists because local residents still live there. 🍃🌸The pudding in Shirakawa - go, both the coffee - flavored and the original, was incredibly delicious!
