Glendale Shopping | Stumbled Upon Insanely Good Fries 🍟

The weather was perfect this weekend, so I headed to Glendale for a day of browsing—and by total luck, I spotted a fry shop with a long line! Of course, I had to join the crowd (curiosity got the best of me 😂)—turns out it was Potato Corner, and it did not disappoint. 📍 Potato Corner: The Fry Star I heard tons of people ordering the BBQ flavor, but my partner isn’t a fan—so we went with Garlic Parmesan Loopy Fries instead. Let me tell you: they were amazing! For $8, the portion was generous, and every single fry was crispy (no soggy bits—hallelujah! 👏). The garlic parmesan seasoning was shaken on evenly, so every bite had that savory, cheesy-garlicky kick. It tasted just like the “Japanese-style shake shake fries” McDonald’s used to sell—total nostalgia hit, and I was obsessed! Fair warning though: They’re super indulgent. I ended up drinking Chuan Bei Pi Pa Gao (Chinese herbal cough syrup) when I got home because I felt so “heaty” (thanks to the fried goodness) 😅—worth it, but maybe share a portion if you’re worried about that! ☕ Bonus: Philz Coffee Near the Mall While I was there, I also popped into Philz Coffee—I’d heard great things about it for ages but never had a chance to try it. Since there was a location right near the mall, I couldn’t pass it up! Mint Mojito Ice CoffeeIt looked so unique, I had to order it. It was delicious—light, refreshing, and not too sweet—but the mint flavor was pretty subtle. I didn’t even notice the fresh mint leaves inside until I opened the lid! A nice twist on regular iced coffee, but if you love bold mint, you might want to ask for extra. Ecstatic Iced CoffeeI later heard their Mission Cold Brew is even better than this one—so note to self (and you!): Next time, skip the Ecstatic and go for the cold brew instead. Still tasty, but I’m already craving the version I missed out on. If you’re in Glendale for shopping, add Potato Corner and Philz Coffee to your snack list—they’re the perfect way to fuel up (or treat yourself) during a day of walking! #Glendale #PotatoCorner #LosAngelesFood #LosAngelesCoffeeShops #PhilzCoffee #GarlicParmesanFries #IcedCoffee #WeekendSnacks
