Go to a nice Thai restaurant in New York and have a mojito
The ambiance is so aesthetic—perfect for photos! A Thai lady at the front greeted us when we walked in, and the whole vibe feels totally date-worthy ✨. It was my first time trying a Thai iced tea mojito 🍹! I usually love Thai milk tea but find it too sweet—turns out, mixing it into a mojito with mint and lemon makes it super refreshing. The tea flavor takes center stage with just a hint of condensed milk—if you don’t like cloying drinks, this is a must-try❗ We also ordered a "Queen of Dragon"—it uses sugar-free red dragon fruit juice, which won me over immediately. Sweet, fruity, and that vibrant dragon fruit hue is chef’s kiss~ Plus, their drinks are huge, and there’s no ice in these two—we were both a little tipsy after finishing them 😆. Ranking the dishes by how much I loved them: ✨ Green curry with beef So good❗ The beef slices are super tender, there’s a nice variety of veggies, and everything soaks up the sauce—drizzle it over rice, and you’re set~ ✨ Drunken noodles Lao Wang’s absolute favorite❗ The wide noodles are stir-fried to fragrant perfection, not greasy at all—total comfort food. We added duck, but it was just okay (a bit dry)—next time we’ll stick with beef. ✨ Green papaya salad Huge portion, and the fish sauce flavor is spot-on—I loved it, but heads up if you’re not into fish sauce! ✨ Pineapple seafood curry Red curry with seafood served in half a pineapple 🍍—it’s stunning for photos, with a lobster tail on top. Inside, there’s shrimp, scallops, squid, and pineapple. Tastes good but a bit pricey—worth it for the 📸 though~ ✨ Appetizer platter Prettiest dish, but my least favorite. The fried spring rolls and fortune bags are nothing special, but the chive cakes were a nice surprise—tasty! Maybe better to just order the ones you want individually. ✨ Hey Thai ✨ 127 John St, New York, NY 10038 #NewYorkFood #NewYorkFoodGuide #NewYorkThaiFood #NewYorkLife #NewYorkThaiRestaurant #NewYorkThaiCuisine #NewYorkPhotoSpot #NewYorkDateRestaurant #ManhattanFood #ManhattanRestaurants #WallStreetFood #WallStreet #NewYorkDowntown #NewYorkDowntownFood
