Good Food – But Not Cheap 💸🍷

We had a lovely evening at Josephine, a charming restaurant that brings a true Parisian brasserie vibe right to the heart of London. 🍷 My wife ordered a rosé wine, and I went for a non-alcoholic cocktail—both were spot-on and beautifully prepared. 🥖 The bread was so delicious we almost asked for another round—warm, crusty, and irresistibly fresh! 🦐 The prawns and snails were fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly—each bite felt like a taste of the French coast. 🍗 She had the chicken, and I enjoyed the filet steak with Béarnaise sauce—tender, juicy, and seasoned just right. 🧑‍🍳 The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and full of great recommendations. 🎨 The decor is classic French brasserie—dim lighting, vintage mirrors, and cozy seating. For a moment, we truly felt transported to a Parisian night. 🇫🇷✨ 🌡️ The downside? It was quite warm inside. A fan or better ventilation would have made a big difference. 💸 Also, there was a £5 cover charge (£2.50 per person)—reasonable? Not totally sure, but hey… it’s London. 📱 Honestly, I was a bit skeptical after reading some mixed reviews, but everyone has their own experience—and ours was wonderful. 💰 Final bill: £200 for two, including one rosé, one non-alcoholic cocktail, and no dessert. Yes, it’s on the pricier side, but if you’re looking for high-quality food and that Parisian atmosphere, it’s worth the treat. We’d return for a special occasion—maybe when the weather’s cooler! 😉 #JosephineLondon #ParisianVibes #FrenchBrasserie #GoodButPricey #LondonEats
