Google 4.8 Rating Indian Cuisine Review | Locals' Favorite Dishoom π
I've heard about Dishoom from several Indian friends, and every time I passed by the Soho or Covent Garden branches, I saw long lines. This time, I decided to try the Kensington location, which has a higher rating. π Chicken Ruby Β£17.90 A signature dish, the creamy chicken curry is so flavorful and pairs perfectly with the naan bread. It's hard to stop eating! π π Garlic Naan Β£5.30 The garlic naan is soft and aromatic. Two pieces per order were more than enough for us without needing extra rice. π₯― π Dishoom House Chaat Β£9.90 A unique yogurt salad (a bit more Western-style) with beets, pomegranate, carrots, and fried sweet potato chunks. The tangy green sauce makes it super delicious! π₯ π Blackened Butterflied Prawns Β£18.20 When it arrived, I realized there were only four prawns, which seemed a bit pricey. They were tasty but not worth the cost. (Interestingly, I found out that prices vary between branches when writing this post.) π€ π Mango & Fennel Lassi Β£6.70 The mango-flavored yogurt drink is amazing! We ordered one to try and ended up getting another because it was so good. π The staff were incredibly friendly, checking on us multiple times during the meal to see how we were enjoying it. We were a bit overwhelmed! Since we mentioned it was an anniversary when booking, they even gave us free ice cream. π¦ π° Average cost per person: Β£35-40 π Dishoom Kensington #100RestaurantsChallenge #GlobalFoodieContest #LondonExploration #LondonFood #Foodie #LondonIndianCuisine #IndianFood #FoodLovers #WorldwideEatingSquad #Curry
