Visitors are encouraged to "walk through and dwell within," reconnecting with nature on an instinctual level. The inspiration comes from the profound impact of navigation and sailing on human relationships, emphasizing the intimate interweaving of art, body, and land, and highlighting symbiosis and resonance. 🌿 What is it exactly? Ernesto Neto has created a massive, semi-transparent, tent-like or net-like "shell" structure using soft crocheted fabric, spice packets, bark, and hemp ropes. Visitors can enter this space barefoot, walk on sand, sit down, or even lie down, experiencing the scents of spices, the sounds of breathing and footsteps around them, and the interaction between the materials and their bodies. Check out P4~ for a reference. 🕸️ Additionally, there will be an opening concert on June 8th! 🎶 Opening Concert: Concert d’ouverture Ernesto Neto Date: June 8th, 2025 Format: A collaborative performance by percussion artists from Latin America, Africa, Asia, Europe, and more. Location: Inside the Grand Palais Glass Dome Hall All the information about these events has already been announced on the official website.
