My Moose-Sighting Adventure: Heeding the staff's counsel, I took to the designated loop. A round trip along it generally spans about 40 minutes. To my astonishment, I came across moose halfway through my first drive. πππ¦ It was an electrifying moment when I realized I'd achieved my goal of seeing the moose. πππ 5. As I rounded the bend and entered Falts Rd, I spied several cars parked roadside and a family operating a drone. Instantly, I surmised that there must be an animal discovery in the distance, as roadside parking isn't ordinarily permitted without cause. After parking my vehicle, I could make out a group of animals on the prairie in a hazy way. Meanwhile, there were photographers nearby. So, I exited my car and trudged through the snow for approximately 500 meters to draw nearer to the moose herd. The herd consisted of both male and female moose, and most astonishingly, their antlers remained intact! I then began snapping pictures while maintaining a safe distance. The moose were placidly grazing, and two male moose were even locking horns, which was truly captivating. ππ·π± It was a sight that etched itself vividly in my memory. ππ¦π 6.
