Grand Teton West Route + Half-Day Salt Lake City Tour 🏔️🌆

On the last day, we exited Yellowstone and stopped at a few spots along Grand Teton’s west route before arriving in Salt Lake City around 7 PM for a hotpot feast at Longmenzhen Hotpot—and it’s all-you-can-eat! 🍲🔥 1️⃣ Entrance Sign Photo Just by the roadside—no precise location needed, easy to find! 📸 2️⃣ Chapel of the Transfiguration • Visit time: 10–15 mins • Photos turn out much better than real life—don’t expect too much or you might be disappointed. 3️⃣ Moose-Wilson Road (Optional) • If you have time, take a detour south from Moose. This road winds through wetlands and forests—sometimes you can spot moose or bears! 🐻🌲 • Note: It may close due to bear activity or maintenance. 4️⃣ Jenny Lake (West Route Highlight) Two ways to enjoy Jenny Lake: 🚤 Option 1: Boat + Short Hike • Take a shuttle from Jenny Lake Visitor Center to the other side (~7 mins, 12 one-way / 20 round-trip). • Hike to Hidden Falls (0.5 miles) + Inspiration Point (1 mile). • Round trip: 1.5–2 hours—scenic and easy! 🥾 Option 2: Lakeside Loop Trail • Full loop is 7.5 miles (~3–4 hours), perfect for those with good stamina who prefer quiet views. • Plenty of photo spots with stunning reflections. Stayed overnight in Salt Lake City with an afternoon flight the next day. Spent the morning exploring: Start: Temple Square • Time: 30 mins • Tip: Best light in the morning! ☀️ • 10-min walk / 0.5-mile drive → Second Stop: Cathedral of the Madeleine • Time: 30 mins • Highlights: Stained glass, murals, painted ceilings. • Tip: Visit around noon for the best light through the windows. • 12-min walk / 0.6-mile drive → Third Stop: Utah State Capitol • Time: 30–45 mins • Highlights: Dome hall, exhibition rooms, panoramic city views. • Tip: Capture the cityscape from the front steps! 🏛️ #WorldTravel #Adventure #TravelPhotography #GlobalCheckIn #SaltLakeCity #GrandTeton #Yellowstone #RoadTrip
