Initially, I planned to visit another restaurant recommended on Xiaohongshu (a Chinese social media platform). However, when I asked the hotel front desk for help with a reservation, the staff strongly advised against it. She said that choosing quality over price is better, especially since I’ve come all this way. So, I selected a nearby restaurant with a 30% discount time slot on TheFork. 😀😀😀 The 30% discount times are either quite early, before 6:30 p.m., or quite late, after 9:30 p.m., since the sunset in Florence in May is around 8 p.m., and these options avoid the peak dining hours. 😻😻😻 PS: If you don’t use the 1000yums discount, you don’t need a mobile verification code. The restaurant offers a Chinese menu, though the translation is not great but still understandable. The T-Bone in Picture 1 was delicious. The T-Bone is only available in a fixed 1.2kg weight option, but there are two types of beef. We chose the cheaper one at over €80; the other is a young beef at over €90. Since I have a weak bite, I asked the waiter for a recommendation on the doneness and went with medium-rare, between medium and rare. It turned out to be perfect. The heat from the iron plate warms the steak, making it not too raw but very tender and not chewy at all. Many people have mentioned the homemade pici in Picture 2, but I don’t recommend it. It’s not rolled in the cheese tub right in front of you, but it is mixed with the cheese tub and costs about €8 more than other pasta. The pasta was hard, and the cheese wasn’t juicy. It quickly became cold and dry. Both pasta and cheese lovers were disappointed. 😍😍😍 Only the food is discounted at this restaurant, not the drinks. The beverage in Picture 3 costs €12.8, excluding taxes. You might consider ordering a bottle of water like the locals do. The detailed payment breakdown is in Picture 4. Even with the addition of an €8.8 service charge for two people, the overall cost was still reasonable because of the 30% discount on the food.❤️❤️❤️ PS: When paying the bill, you will be asked to choose a service charge. You can adjust it dynamically according to your own habits. Many people on Xiaohongshu say that this restaurant and another one have the same owner. I haven’t tried the other one, so I don’t know if it’s true. There are also many negative reviews about the other restaurant on Xiaohongshu.
