Great for Lunch, Dinner, or Drinks in Miami! 🍽️

It had been a while since my last visit to Joey – actually, more than a while, more like years! My previous experience was back in 2022 at their location in Woodland Hills, California. This Miami location hasn’t been open long, just about a year or so. Ever since I heard they’d opened here, I’d been curious to see if it lived up to its California sister. A few weeks ago, I finally stopped by for lunch, and overall, it was a pleasant experience! 😊 I ordered the Mediterranean Bowl, the Chicken Curry Salad, and a Spicy Margarita. 🥗 Let’s start with my least favorite: the Mediterranean Bowl. 😀While the flavors were decent, it wasn’t particularly memorable. For $27, I expected a bit more generosity – especially when it came to the chicken portion. A bowl at that price should feel more satisfying. On the other hand, the Chicken Curry Salad was delicious! 🥗 As they say, a salad is only as good as its dressing – and this one was spot-on. The chicken was fried to perfection: crispy, tender, and not greasy at all. Honestly, I’d drive to Aventura again just for this dish! The Spicy Margarita was another win – refreshing, well-balanced, and with just the right kick. 🍸 All in all, it was a solid visit.
