Great Place to Bring Kids in Berlin: Machmit Museum for Children 👨‍👩

The planetarium didn't work out, but my partner found a museum für Kinder (Children's Museum?) nearby, so we decided to check it out and take shelter from the rain. When we arrived and pushed the door open, we saw a chaotic scene😂 with a big group of kids running around barefoot...😅 The staff apologized, saying it was too crowded today and they were a bit short-staffed... They almost let us in for free, but my partner insisted on buying tickets, and in the end, they gave us a discount🥹. The overall feel of the place is like a two-story indoor playground with lots of interactive content and opportunities to learn... I learned something too😄. There are staff members leading crafts and drawing activities, which would really give parents a break if their kids are a bit older... I saw a bunch of moms and dads huddled in various corners with books and phones🤭🤭.
