Great Smoky Mountains Gatlinburg 🚡 Food & Drink Guide‼️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Bubble Gump Shrimp Co. A Forrest Gump-themed spot (all about shrimp, prepared in every way imaginable!). They only serve various fried, grilled, or baked shrimp dishes—the reason it doesn’t get five stars is that everything is breaded, fried, and loaded with cheese, which can get way too heavy. If both your main and sides are fried, it’s overwhelmingly greasy! Recommend ordering fried shrimp as appetizers and choosing a main dish with some veggies! Appetizers: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Calamari – Fried squid! So delicious! 🌟🌟🌟 Sampler Plate – Fried shrimp, shrimp poppers, chicken tenders, and creamy spinach (which tastes rich and salty!). Everything was tasty! One of the dipping sauces had a unique red wine flavor, while another was a classic cocktail sauce (common with oysters). We were still loving it at this point! Then came the mains… things took a turn: 🌟🌟🌟 Shimper’s Haven – A full plate of fried shrimp: coconut shrimp, tempura shrimp, etc., plus fries. It was good at first, but after a while, it became overwhelmingly greasy. Unless you’re a huge fried shrimp fan, you might struggle to finish it! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Jenny’s Surf and Surf So good! The grilled salmon was amazing!! Plus, it came with broccoli—one of the few veggie-inclusive dishes here. 🌟🌟🌟 “I’m Stuffed!” Shrimp Five or six shrimp stuffed with cheese and crab meat, coated in batter. Having one or two is delicious, but beyond that, it gets way too heavy. Order wisely! All in all, the dish names are fun, the restaurant is spacious with two floors, and there’s even a small souvenir shop. The servers sometimes even resemble characters from Forrest Gump! Definitely worth a try, but be careful not to overorder!! Across the street, there’s an ice cream shop with specialty desserts! Ice cream lovers, don’t miss it! But be warned—after all that fried shrimp, diving into super-sweet treats might push you over the edge. They serve shakes topped with bananas, red velvet cake, and more… basically, everything is as sweet and rich as possible! Great for an occasional indulgence, but definitely not an everyday thing! #GreatSmokyMountainsNationalPark #GreatSmokyMountains #Gatlinburg #GatlinburgFood #GatlinburgEats #FoodGuideAfterTheSkyLift
