Great Value for Money! 💰
We initially booked just 4 nights, thinking we might switch to an Airbnb, but we quickly realized our stay here was more than worth it—so much so that we ended up staying for 15 days! 😄 The hotel's location is fantastic—just across the street from the Hilton Lagoon (with direct beach access) and a short stroll along Waikiki Beach. The bus stop (routes #20, #23, #42) is only a 3-second walk away, making it super convenient for trips to the airport, Ala Moana Center, Pearl Harbor, and Don Quijote, a discount store with much better prices than the three ABC Stores or supermarkets near the hotel. 🚌🏖️🛒 The staff—both at the front desk and in housekeeping—were professional and charming, adding a warm touch to our stay. We stayed in a room on a high floor, initially overlooking the pool and the boulevard. It was quite noisy (traffic + loud old AC), so we’d recommend requesting a room facing the other side of the street—still a bit noisy, but noticeably better! The room was pleasantly spacious, a bit dated but very clean, with comfortable bedding on both beds. Amenities included a microwave, refrigerator, safe, TV, iron and ironing board, kettle, and daily pods for coffee, tea, cream, and sugar. Housekeeping and sheet changes were available daily upon request. On the 2nd floor, you’ll find a lovely pool (with self-service towels, though the area can be noisy), where you can enjoy lunch or dinner (even with food bought outside the hotel). There’s also a gym and another room with free access to an ice machine and fresh water. Note: Washers, dryers, and drink machines are available but require payment. 🏊♂️🧺⚙️ Breakfast is served in the hotel driveway for an extra fee, and parking is available at a charge (like everywhere in Honolulu). All in all, we really enjoyed our stay at the Ramada! 👍 #GreatValue #Waikiki #BudgetFriendly #ConvenientLocation #Ramada #TravelTips #FamilyStay #BusAccess #ComfortableRoom #WouldStayAgain
