Great Weekend Spot | Canstruction: Where Art Meets Charity
🌟If you find yourself in Lower Manhattan on the weekend, I recommend popping by Brookfield Place next to WTC. This mall is beautifully decorated, and every shot feels Insta-worthy. Recently, they’re hosting the annual New York Canstruction event, now in its 32nd year. 💫 Canstruction It’s a creative exhibition that combines art with charity. Every year, New York artists, designers, engineers, students, and more use a variety of food cans to create large-scale art installations. About 30 works compete each year, and the most creative pieces are recognized with awards. After the exhibition, all the cans are donated to City Harvest to help feed the needy and the homeless. While visiting, you can also check out the brand stores or sit down for a coffee and enjoy the view of the Hudson River through the windows 🏙️ #NewYork #NewYorkLife #NewYorkFoodie #NewYorkWeekend #WhereToGoInNewYorkWeekend #NewYorkWeekendActivities #NewYorkExhibitions #NewYorkDailyLife
