I come to the Brookfield several times every year! It is an amazing place to hang out and chill. There are several reasons why this place is just purely amazing: 1) Amazing mall. The shopping variety here is insane! Louis Vuitton, Gucci, you name it! The food variety is also awesome as there are multiple restaurants located throughout the area. 2) Decoration. Every season or so or on special holidays, the team at Brookfield place decorates the area as such. Winter time, which for me, personally, is the best at Brookfield place. There are overhanging cube lights during this time that change and you can make wishes, and overall it's a great experience! Do not miss out on the light show! 3) Restaurants. There is a wide variety of restaurants there. There is Mexican food, crepes, desserts, coffee shops, and many more located throughout the entire mall. There are restaurants outside too. 4) Space. There is a huge area to sit inside and outside of the mall too. There is a main place to sit inside and there is a second story to the mall. You can sit outside of the mall also. 5) View. There is an AMAZING view from brookfield place. On one side is the tallest skyscraper in America, the Freedom Tower. On another side is a lake where there are boats too. On the other side of the lake, you can see, is the Colgate tower and the Exchange Place. The nature is excellent there too. 6) Westfield. Westfield is another AWESOME experience there at/near Brookfield. First of all, if you are taking the subway to the mall and area, the subway stops indoor at Westfield. Once you get out of the subway, there are many fast food restaurants and malls there to see also. There are screens as big as the ones at Time Square. You can go to the main area where there is a lot of space that is decorated in some seasons too. There is a second floor where the view of the downstairs area is pretty good and you can take pictures here too. There is an exit on the second floor where you would come out and Brookfield Place from there is only a couple hundred feet away. Sometimes, in Westfield, there are stalls open where you can buy fresh food, and chocolates, and mini decorations too. The stalls are a nice addition as well. Westfield is an amazing experience and if you were to go to Brookfield Place, check out Westfield as well. 7) Interactive things. During the winter, there is an ice skating rink where you can skate. It does not cost too much and you can rent ice skating shoes. In the wintertime, there are overhanging cubes, as stated before. There are also 4 big cubes attached to the floor. You can place your hand on them and they will start changing colors, then you make a wish and let your hands go. Then, all the overhanging cubes will gradiently change into the color the big cube was at the time you let you hand go. There are more interesting experiences as well there. Overall, the Brookfield Place is an amazing experience that will definitely make you want to come back for more! I have attached some pictures. Two from the morning and 2 from the night. In two of the pictures, you can see the glass-covered building is the Brookfield Place with the Freedom Tower behind it. The other two pictures are the view opposite from the freedom tower near the bay area. I hope...
Read moreThis VERY ELEGANT BEAUTIFUL place used to be called the Winter Gardening, which the Twin Towers of the WTC once stood behind. Back in March 1999 my former employee/friend once took me to explore around the Financial District area & the last place she took me to was this Formal Winter Gardening. And YES I've TRULY ENJOYED MYSELF & the ENTIRE AREA was such a Formal SOPHISTICATED Atmosphere. On 9/11 2002, was when I discovered this BEAUTIFUL UNIQUE Park 🏞️ "The Battery Park City"!🌆🏞️ The glass building briefly looked abandoned & quite lifeless as it sat facing this ENORMOUS EMPTY space: The Ground Zero.😱😨😰😲🤯 In 2018 I've passed that formal Winter Gardening place, VOWING that I was going to go"INSIDE" there VERY SOON! 🙏🏽2023 AHHH! I've FINALLY DID IT! 😉🙂 Now this place is called, Brookfield Place (which looked a Palace to me!) At first I thought 💭🤔 this place was like an ordinary shopping 🛍️ mall, but it NEVER OCCURRED to me the MOST EXPENSIVE shopping mall was Inside of the Formal Winter Garden, after I went inside to look around & SUDDENLY REALIZED EXACTLY 💯 where I WAS!!!! However I've noticed the stores were closed but in that relaxing area, was quite EXQUISITE!! The windows 🪟 that looked over the Hudson River & Lots of dining tables it was just SO BEAUTIFUL! Even riding up or down on the escalaters made the lobby of the Brookfield Place looked so RAIDIENT from the distance! I DO PLANNING on Coming back here AGAIN just to explore some more & to maybe chill out by the windows!...
Read moreA peaceful and truly delightful place. During my visit, I had a small but meaningful experience that left me with a lasting impression. I found a cellphone left behind in the bathroom and, without hesitation, decided to deliver it to the security guard on duty. To my surprise, he was extremely kind, professional, and efficient in handling the situation. Only a short while later, he informed me that the phone had already been returned to its rightful owner, who was very grateful. That simple act of honesty and service created an atmosphere of trust and reinforced the sense of safety in the place.
Beyond that experience, what makes this location remarkable is the unique balance it offers between productivity and serenity. It is truly an exceptional environment to work remotely, combining the calm one needs for focus with the inspiration of its surroundings. I spent the afternoon there, enjoying a warm cup of coffee while holding a remote meeting, and I must admit the atmosphere elevated the entire experience. The sunset painted the sky with magical colors, and the view became almost poetic — a scene that felt both relaxing and deeply motivating at the same time.
After such a positive day, I made the decision to return more often. It is not just a place to work, but also a setting that nurtures creativity, gratitude,...
