📌Hotel Name: Hotel Museo Spa Casa Santo Domingo This hotel was reconstructed on the ruins of a convent that was destroyed by the great earthquake of 1773. Inside the hotel, there are hot spring pools, art galleries, museums, candle and chocolate workshops, as well as a large number of magnificent remains of the convent. 📌Every room is equipped with a fireplace and hand-painted tiles. 📌I had only booked for two days, but I enjoyed my stay so much that I extended it significantly. It was the first time I felt like I didn't want to leave the hotel. I learned about this hotel from a fellow traveler who stayed here. The price is on the high side for a five-star hotel, but it's not unreasonable. I highly recommend it because of the fascinating museum inside. It's a convent-turned-museum with an incredibly cool vintage vibe. 📌 The sheer number of museums surprised me. Every tiny detail in the design and every artifact is steeped in a rich history.
