Guide|🇨🇦 Niagara-on-the-Lake Spring Getaway 🌸✨
Niagara-on-the-Lake is my favorite weekend escape near Toronto, especially in spring! Just 30 mins from the falls but worlds away from the crowds—it’s pure holiday vibes. 🏡💐 📍 Prince of Wales Hotel 🏨 Built in 1864, named after the Duke of York’s 1901 visit. The vintage decor and rooms are insta-perfect—like stepping into a period drama! 📍 BeauChapeau Hat Shop 🎩 My must-visit hat boutique! From $50 to $500, they’ve got every style/brand imaginable. A whimsical nod to British hat obsession. 📍 Niagara Apothecary 🧪 A restored 1820s-1964 pharmacy turned tiny museum (open summer weekends). Peek into 19th-century daily life! 📍 Treadwell Cuisine 🍽️ My beloved spot! First fell for their duck confit (RIP to that menu item 😭), but the mussels and beef are still chef’s kiss. 📍 Queen’s Royal Park Gazebo 🏕️ A 5-min lakeside stroll from Queen St. Picnic here with Toronto’s skyline views on clear days! 📍 Niagara-on-the-Lake Museum 🗺️ Who knew this tiny town had such history? Exhibits on Upper Canada’s capital + summer weekend guided tours at 11am. 🌧️ PS: Toronto’s spring came late this year—endless rain and false starts. But here, "spring showers" felt poetic, not painful. Flowers always bloom eventually. 🌷 👉 Follow me for more Toronto discoveries! #DayTrip #HiddenGems #TorontoWeekend #CouplesGetaway #NOTL #NiagaraFalls #TravelDiary #OntarioAdventures
