Had the Best Pasta of My Life in Philly! 🍝
Found this spot on Beli with an 8/10 rating and made a reservation. Not one of Philly’s trendiest restaurants, so expectations were modest — but the unique menu caught my eye. And wow — all three of us were blown away! 😲 The Duck Ragu Pasta had us raving — handmade wide noodles, perfectly chewy, with a delicate cream and cheese flavor. The duck was braised until melt-in-your-mouth tender, with a broth-like depth that almost tasted Chinese. The mushrooms? Juicy, savory, and absolutely heavenly. Not exaggerating — this is my favorite pasta I’ve had in years living in the U.S. 🦆🍄 For the main, we tried the Rabbit Skewer — tender, springy rabbit meat over a bed of slow-cooked beans with a savory, almost braised flavor. 🐰 The grilled shrimp appetizer was fresh and lightly spicy, served over shredded cabbage with a smoky BBQ touch. 🍤 Dessert was a cheesecake with citrus glaze — beautiful, lightly sweet, and not heavy at all. 🍰 The vibe is perfect for a date — and I can imagine sitting in their little courtyard in warmer weather would be so romantic. Even just for the food alone, this place is absolutely worth it 😭 📍 Restaurant: Le Virtù #ItalianFood #PastaHeaven #PhillyEats #PhillyFoodScene #ItalianInPhilly #EastCoastEats
