π Tips: It's essential to plan well for the various transportation transfers in Hakone. Generally, you start by taking the mountain train π to Gora/Sculpture Forest, then switch to the mountain cable car π to Sounzan, followed by the cable car π‘ to Owakudani/Togendai, and from there, you can take a pirate ship π’ to Motohakone, and walk to Hakone Shrine β©οΈ. π¨ Accommodation: Hakone Gora, Ki no Yotsukigetsuka. Highly recommended for a one-night stay with two meals included! On the day of check-in, it happened to be the Winter Solstice, and there was a limited yuzu hot spring β¨οΈ to soak in.
