Half-Price Museum Visit ✅ New York’s Broadway Museum

Every year, the half-price ticket event is a must-grab deal! The museum offers tickets at half price, which comes to $25.50 each (after tax/fees) during the event. You can find this place on Google Maps with the NYC official website, and the discount is automatically applied when you purchase tickets through the official site. Visited RiseNY (detailed in my last post) and then the Museum of Broadway, both are on the same street and very close! We drove and parked right in front of the museum; there was plenty of free street parking available at noon. Since we finished at RiseNY early, we also checked out Nintendo, FDNY Fire Zone, and Line friends. Museum of Broadway Enter through the gift shop; there’s a stage in the corner of the store where you can use their machine to take photos, which can be sent to your phone or email. You can also take photos after exploring the exhibition. The staff will first take you to a room to watch a video introduction, after which you can explore at your own pace. The first stop is the dressing room with giant makeup mirrors, where the staff said you can sit and take photos. 👗 The museum features a variety of costumes, many of which are exquisite and lavish, some preserved for a long time and in great condition! There are also various scenes, like a cornfield and a bar, which are quite interesting. There are photo spots to check out, as seen in the pictures. Interactive activities include Broadway-related word games. 🚻 There’s a restroom halfway through the exhibition, right next to the photo spot with the swing. 📺 The upper level focuses on the front of the stage, while the lower level is more about behind-the-scenes. It’s amazing to see the effort and dedication behind a stage. The three-dimensional stage designs, initial drafts, costume designs, sound effects, and scenery are all art! The large model of the Wicked stage was particularly impressive, with intricate and detailed rooms and scenes. 🎭 There’s a white room covered with sheet music, and the piano is playable. There’s also a room with equipment that’s a bit messy, giving it a more authentic feel. You can see various makeup design sketches, scene and costume drafts, etc. There are chairs for various purposes throughout the museum, and they’re all available to sit on without any signs. The half-price deal is a steal, especially for Broadway fans. As a non-fan, I enjoyed it thoroughly and spent about an hour and a half exploring. Also visited in between: 🚒 FDNY Fire Zone: A small store selling fire department merchandise caught our eye with a half-sized fire truck at the front door, which you can climb and take photos with. Fun! 🎮 Nintendo: A great place to kill time, as you can try out their games. There are cute Pikachus and other characters, as well as game consoles from various eras. It’s a paradise for kids with a huge interactive screen to play games. MITR THAI Dinner: $60 per person Best to make a reservation. Overall impression was good, would come again. #CityMuseumVisits #ImmersiveExhibition #ArtLover
