Halifax Japanese Ramen Spot 🍜
Buta Ramen The other night, I went to Buta Ramen at Sunnyside Mall for dinner. 🛍️ I’ve also been to their downtown location before, so I wanted to see how the two compare. My last visit to the downtown spot was back in December, and honestly, it feels like everything got more expensive—each item seemed to cost $1-2 more than before. 💸 Spicy Miso Ramen 🌶️ Highly recommend! Besides the usual toppings (soft-boiled egg, corn, scallions, bean sprouts), this one also had chunks of Japanese-style chashu pork on top. The broth had a spicy kick with a strong, savory miso flavor—so good! 😋 Tantanmen 🍖 This one had a tonkotsu (pork bone) broth with a hint of spice, topped with minced pork, a soft-boiled egg, and scallions. But compared to the Spicy Miso Ramen, the toppings felt a bit lighter—not as loaded. Tonkotsu Ramen 🐷 The classic pork broth ramen—simple but solid. The chashu slice was huge, not too fatty, and nicely charred for extra flavor. Baby Octopus 🐙 We ordered this appetizer to share—deep-fried baby octopus (five pieces in total). Crispy on the outside, tender inside! Final Verdict? The Spicy Miso Ramen was the standout—flavorful, rich, and satisfying! 👌 #HalifaxCanada #HalifaxEats #HalifaxFoodie #JapaneseRamen #HalifaxLife #RamenLover #FoodieAdventure #NoodleHeaven #HalifaxRestaurants #CanadianFoodScene #SpicyMiso #ButaRamen #HalifaxLiving 🍥🔥
