🦪 Harvard Corner Gem | The Hourly Oyster House

Brought here by a Harvard friend, and I gotta say, it’s pretty solid—I’ve been twice now! Rumor has it, this is a favorite spot for Harvard professors to dine. In fact, while sitting at the high table, I ended up next to a colleague from my friend’s lab. 🧑‍🔬🍽️ 🦪 Oysters The oysters are super fresh, though I found them a bit on the salty side. If you prefer sweeter oysters, try the Bay Side. 🐚 Mussels Provençal The mussels are classically seasoned, and the two pieces of garlic bread that come with it are perfect for soaking up the sauce. The server even brought us two more pieces—I was full just from the bread! 🍞😋 🐙 Grilled Octopus Served with mashed potatoes, the grilled octopus has a great texture—charred on the outside, tender on the inside. Highly recommend! 🦞 Lobster Bisque Rich and creamy with big chunks of lobster meat. At $12, it’s a great deal! 🥗 Caesar Salad A standard Caesar salad, but it’s a nice palate cleanser when paired with heavier dishes. 🍚 Seared Scallops The scallops themselves are tender, but the risotto had a bit of an odd flavor. 🦞 Lobster Roll Unexpectedly, the lobster roll was the MVP of the meal! Sweet lobster meat paired with buttery, crispy bread, and the fries were perfectly crunchy. So good! 😋 💰 Price per Person: $50-60 #FoodieLife #RestaurantReview #RepeatWorthy #BostonLobster #BostonSeafood #WesternCuisine #BostonDateSpot
