Hatoyama Hall
A Retro Western-Style Mansion in the Heart of the City 🌿 The Turtle Hill House was the former residence of Mr. Ichiro Kameyama, and it still retains many of the family's beloved belongings. 🍃🌸 Now a memorial museum, it's open for visitors to explore and feel the warmth and love for life that once filled these rooms. 🏡 With its distinctly Western architectural style enhanced by traditional Japanese elements, the entire mansion exudes a charmingly retro atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for stunning photos. Except for a couple of exhibit rooms where photography is not allowed, you can freely take photos in the other areas, especially from the second-floor windows, which offer absolutely beautiful views! 📸 🍃🌸 The garden is filled with an array of flowers, predominantly roses, and it's said that different blooms grace the garden throughout the year, creating a variety of moods. 🌹 Though not very large, the mansion is definitely worth a visit. 🍃🌸Each room has a tranquil and delightful ambiance, and the photo opportunities are endless—it's definitely one of the most photogenic places I've been to recently! 🌟 Tickets can be purchased at the entrance, and with a student ID, it's only 400 yen (no online reservation needed, which is very convenient). 🎫 📍 Turtle Hill House Address: 1-7-1 Oiwake, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo 112-0013 🍃🌸7-minute walk from Exit 2 of Edo River Bridge Station Hours: Closed on Mondays; open 10:00-16:00 on other days #Tokyo 🌇
