I came here after seeing rave reviews on Xiaohongshu โ€” but as soon as I saw the sign and location, I thought to myselfโ€ฆ some things never change ๐Ÿ˜…. ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ Must-order: The Crispy Fish was the star โ€” bouncy, flavorful, and seriously addictive! ๐Ÿ‘ The Coupleโ€™s Beef Slice (Fu Qi Fei Pian) was also solid โ€” tender, well-sliced, and nicely seasoned. ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ West Lake Beef Soup was a letdown though โ€” it wasnโ€™t the classic clear, silky version I expected. They added mushrooms, which made it taste okay, but it lost that smooth texture and visual appeal ๐Ÿ„โŒ. ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ The Stir-Fried Pork Kidney had a slightly off taste. We even asked the server to try it โ€” she said it was normal, but something just didnโ€™t feel right. Thankfully, no stomach issues afterward ๐Ÿ–๐Ÿค”. ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ Not a photogenic spot โ€” the decor is your typical old-school Chinese restaurant.
