Hawai‘i 5-0 birthday!

Hubby and I recently visited this beautiful Hawaiian oasis—and it was all to celebrate my handsome hubby’s 50th birthday! 🎉 Hence the perfect little nod: Hawai‘i 5-0! How fun is that?​ First off, communication with the team was top-tier—no confusion, no last-minute stress, just smooth planning all the way. And the directions on how to get there? So detailed, which was a total lifesaver since we weren’t familiar with the area 🗺️. No circling around lost—just a straight shot to our little slice of paradise.​ Let’s talk about the drive from Kona to this spot, too—it was absolutely exquisite! 🚗 We rolled down the windows, breathed in that fresh, tropical air, and passed by lush greenery and peekaboo ocean views. It felt like a mini adventure before the main event even started.​ Once we parked, my breath was instantly taken away—those beautiful, inviting tropical entrance vibes hit me right away! 🌴 Think vibrant flowers, swaying palm trees, and that calm, serene energy that makes you go “ahhh” the second you step foot there. We’d arrived a bit early for our scheduled 30-minute hot tub time and 60-minute lomi-lomi couple massage… and the friendly host was so gracious to let us have extra time in the hot tub! 🥰 So we sank into the warm water, sipped on cold drinks (mentally toasting to my hubby!), and let all the pre-birthday buzz melt away.​ Then came the lomi-lomi massage—chef’s kiss ✨. It was amazing, so deeply relaxing, and 100% worth every minute. The therapists had such gentle, skilled hands, and the whole vibe (soft music, subtle tropical scents) made it feel like we were in our own little world. By the end, we both felt totally renewed—like all the stress of everyday life had been massaged away.​ I can’t say enough good things about this experience!
