Hawaii | A Slice of Serenity in Busy Honolulu.
When traveling, I always enjoy visiting local art museums. On my last day in Honolulu, with no special plans (though every day was pretty laid back, haha), I decided to visit HoMA. Away from the bustling Waikiki, the area where HoMA is located is quite tranquil, and the museum was not crowded, which I really appreciated.🌺✨ There are many galleries, featuring a variety of styles of artwork, with a few dedicated to showcasing Hawaiian local culture and art. What I loved the most, however, were the several courtyards. One was like a Chinese-style courtyard with a small pond, creating a very atmospheric ambiance.🏮🐟 Another courtyard had a Mediterranean style, with light blue wall tiles and a central fountain that made me feel like I had stepped into a Greek friend’s home. The bougainvillea was in full bloom when I visited. While taking photos, I was delighted to see a 🦎, a tiny one with such big eyes. I used to be scared of 🦎 as a child, but now I find them adorable. Inside the museum, there’s also a very comfortable restaurant, and you can visit the restaurant or gift shop without needing a ticket.🦎📸 Honolulu Museum of Art (HoMA) #Hawaii #HawaiiTravel #HawaiiLife #HawaiiSights #Honolulu #HonoluluSights #Travel #CulturalSights #ArtMuseum #ArtMuseumTour #ModernArtMuseum #hawaii #hawaii旅行
