Hawaii | The Perfect Atmosphere Bar for a Date

A true drink enthusiast just can't resist a good cocktail, no matter where they are! 🥃 The Green Lady Cocktail Room is one of the few cocktail speakeasies I found in Honolulu. It's hidden inside the White Sands Hotel, not far from Waikiki Beach. The official website only gives a mysterious hint: "Ask for room 8️⃣." When you arrive, you'll find a bamboo wall at the hotel entrance, with the sound of a bustling crowd coming from inside. There's a door with the number 8 on it. Push it to the right, and an invisible door opens into the bar. 🕸️ This bar, known as the "Green Lady," has a luxurious interior, and you can also sit outside. The drinks are even better than I imagined. The menu is full of tropical fruit-based "vacation drinks" that are simply delightful. 🍹 While Hawaii's speakeasy culture might not align with historical Prohibition-era traditions—considering Hawaii is the youngest of the 50 US states—it certainly makes up for it with its generous drink sizes. Whether it's here or at other places I've visited, the cocktails are huge.
