Hawaii Food Picks ๐บ Personally Tried & Loved! Save This List! ๐๐
Iโve hopped around plenty of viral food spots โ and these made the cut! All carefully selected, so you can trust this list ๐ ๐ซ Haleiwa Bowls Their aรงai bowls are as gorgeous as they are delicious! Not overly sweet, with a lovely hint of honey ๐ฏ. My top pick for aรงai bowls on Oสปahu! ๐ Go for the blue one โ itโs a vibe! ๐ Musubi Cafe IYASUME A super cute Japanese-inspired spot with fun merch! Their poke bowl is a bit small and only comes with rice (no salad base) But the spam musubi? LEGENDARY! The spam is savory and fragrant โ a total game-changer. We loved the egg & spam and eel-avocado-egg-spam versions. We bought over a dozen during our trip โ no regrets! ๐ Foodland A popular local supermarket chain โ donโt sleep on it! ๐ Poke: Generous portions, great value. Always a line but worth it. ๐ Ube Mochi: Rich, soft, and chewy โ a dream for mochi lovers! But be warned: itโs a calorie bomb (butter is life here ๐ง). ๐ Honolulu Skewer House We came here twice! Open-flame rotating skewers โ way better than any spot weโve tried in Boston. A bit on the salty side, but perfect when youโre craving something warm and savory after too much raw or chilled food. Great comfort food for the Chinese soul ๐ข. ๐ FCC Farmers Market โ Fruit & Cream Sandwich Amidst someโฆ questionable options at this market (see my last โskip listโ post ๐), this sandwich stood out! If you love fresh cream and fruit, youโll enjoy this. Still โ not my top-recommended market overall. ๐ฅ Island Vintage Coffee This place deserves its own post โ coming soon! I loved it so much I almost ate here three days in a row. Stay tuned ๐ #TravelEats #Hawaii #HawaiianFood #FoodRecs #HawaiiFoodGuide
