Hawaii ✨La Mer Experience: A Birthday Meal That Hits the Mark 😝💖😝

This trip to Hawaii was not only about accomplishing one of life's major events but most importantly, celebrating my husband's birthday 😝. After searching online for numerous restaurants, we finally decided to visit La Mer, the only AAA Five Diamond and Forbes 5 Star-rated restaurant in Honolulu, Hawaii. Haha! This La Mer is located on the second floor of the stunning Halekulani Hotel. If you're a fan of Japanese-style hotels, don't miss this one—it's truly beautiful and comfortable! 🏖️ Next up, let me recommend some of the delicious courses I enjoyed! They offer a choice between a 4-course or 7-course menu. Since I have a pretty good appetite, I went for the 7-course option, haha. I wanted to try every single one! 😋 💖amuse bouche 🥥🍮 This little appetizer is so Hawaiian! It features fresh tropical fruits like coconut and pineapple, with a delightful texture. Paired with chewy pudding, it's super refreshing and appetizing. Plus, it's just so pretty! 🥹 💖Roasted Scallop The scallops, served with caviar, are incredibly tender and fresh! The special lobster sauce is absolutely delicious and adds a rich, savory flavor. I'm in love! 😍 💖Poached Lobster🦞 Finally, my favorite—lobster, haha! Served with vanilla butter, it's not greasy at all. Instead, it has a creamy, rich flavor that's simply amazing! 🦞 💖Chilean Sea Bass The main course in the 7-course menu was originally steak, but since I'm not a big fan of beef, I switched to fish. This dish is really special! The Chilean sea bass is paired with a crispy, flaky chilibean cake, creating a wonderful texture contrast. 🐟 💖Dessert Time! The three desserts were so filling! The soufflé was light and fluffy, not too sweet, with a slightly crispy exterior—perfect! The second dessert was a tangy, orange🍊-shaped ice cream that I absolutely loved! And the honeycomb-shaped chocolate was super cute, haha! The third dessert was a Madeleine, which was just okay, but its beautiful shell made up for it. Haha! Lastly, since it was our birthday celebration, they gifted us an extra ice cream dessert. I had requested a custom message, and they did such a beautiful job writing it! 😍 💖Ladies, remember to book in advance!
