Hawaii Tour - Seaside Art Villa Museum

📍The Shangri La Museum of Islamic Art, a private residence of the 20th-century American tobacco heir, Doris Duke. She spent her life collecting artworks from North Africa, West Asia, South Asia, and other regions, establishing this seaside villa with Islamic style. The residence is now part of the Honolulu Museum of Art (HoMA) and is open to the public. 📍It’s recommended to book at least a month in advance. Each group consists of about 20 people, with a total duration of 120 minutes. Meet at the HoMA entrance before your scheduled time, where a dedicated shuttle will take you to the residence, approximately a 20-minute ride. At the entrance, staff members will give out small fans and provide a brief introduction before you start your self-guided tour. The visiting time is about 60-75 minutes. Gather at the entrance before the end of the tour, where staff will provide ice cream. The admission ticket to Shangri La also includes entry to HoMA, valid for the same day.
