Heavenly Steak in Florence
I rarely eat beef when I'm out, but in Italy, many luxury brand-hosted banquets in Florence feature a must-visit restaurant that I was really looking forward to. 🍄🟫🍝 First up was the porcini malfatti recommended by the waiter. The steaming aroma was like stepping into a grandmother's kitchen who's a master at cooking. She serves you her signature pasta—simple at first glance with just flat noodles and mushrooms, yet incredibly flavorful. 🥩 Then came our main event, the T-bone steak. It was a massive portion. Picture three shows a single serving, while picture six is a double serving from the next table. For two girls, a single serving is more than enough. The steak comes medium-rare by default, which I found quite acceptable. The texture is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a hint of charred aroma and the scent of butter. It's not greasy at all. In comparison, the chicken cutlet is less remarkable—tasty but not as distinctive. 🍷 The red wine was chosen to balance the flavors. The waiter's recommendation was affordable yet delightful, with a fruity taste and just a touch of astringency (which faded significantly after letting it breathe for a while). It paired perfectly with the steak. I learned it was produced by a nearby winery. Every sip made me want to make a face like Xiaosui (a famous Taiwanese talk show host). 🍇🍰 I guess the old man saw how much I enjoyed the meal and decided to gift me a grape tart. It was heavenly—so good that I finished it even though I was already full. The tart wasn't overly sweet, and the grape jam was incredibly rich. I absolutely loved this place. It's also conveniently located near the Florence Cathedral. After the meal, taking an evening stroll through the narrow streets is the epitome of chilling in Florence. 🔖 Address : Via dei Girolami, 28/R #FlorenceCuisine #FlorenceTravel #FlorenceRestaurant #SteakRecommendation #FoodieDaily #Steak #WesternRestaurant #HiddenGemRestaurant #DiningWithALovedOne
