Help, she just can't get enough of this place | Toronto π±
Who would have thought that stomach would become increasingly fond of Thai cuisine lately, feeling like I'm turning into an Asian stomach. Over the weekend, I took my family to a budget-friendly restaurant with a 4.2 rating, and their lunch special was just perfect. My favorite is pad kee mao (spicy stir-fried wide rice noodles). In my memory, this kind of Thai beef noodles is usually sweet, but this one isn't. It's mainly spicy! At first bite, it's like a spicy version of dry-fried beef noodles. Then it's time to bring out the divine sauce! It's a very typical Thai sauce that's both sour and spicy (the kind of sour from lemons, with a fresh fruit taste, and the spiciness is very refreshing, not oily at all). It's both greasy-cutting and pushes the flavor to a completely different taste realm from ordinary fried beef noodles. The green curry has a rich coconut milk flavor, sweeter than I expected, and the spiciness is like that of green peppers. Not only does it taste great, but there are also some dishes that are very satisfying. Cantonese stir-fried noodles, just like the crispy noodles you can get at a Cantonese restaurant, stay crunchy all the way to the end, very resilient. The side dishes are super rich: shrimp, chicken, beef, and lots of vegetables. My baby was so excited, dancing and clapping after every bite. Even the vegetables she usually hates the most were eaten up, so it seems she really likes this sauce. As a mother, I'm moved to tears. It can be said that this was the happiest meal I've taken her out for recently. The high chair in the restaurant is also very thoughtful, with a small tray in front, giving her plenty of space so she won't spill everything on the floor. In summary, it's a great place to bring kids and have a pleasant meal. #TorontoFood #TorontoExplore #TorontoEats #CanadianThai #TorontoFoodAdventure #TorontoWeekend #TorontoLife #LivingInToronto ### Name: Canadian Thai Address: Toronto, ON Canada Type: Restaurant ###
