Helsinki Michelin One-Star OLO Restaurant ๐Ÿด

This time, we visited the Michelin one-star OLO Finnish cuisine restaurant in Helsinki, Finland ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ฎ. Having eaten venison and salmon at every meal, we were curious about what fine dining in Finland would offer. When my boyfriend made the reservation, we learned that most Michelin restaurants are only open four days a week, so we booked this one. ๐ŸŒŸLooking out the window, you can see Helsinki's most famous , a small market, with the Presidential Palace right next door. Unlike most fine dining restaurants that have a dress code, the official website states that you can wear whatever makes you comfortable, which felt very relaxing. We ordered the Menu olo, which seemed to incorporate the freshest ingredients and most creative preparations from Finland, mainly focusing on fish and seafood. The simplicity and laid-back atmosphere were the highlights. The most distinctive feature of the evening was the waiter who introduced the wines ๐Ÿท. We were impressed by his in-depth knowledge of each wine/vineyard, making the evening feel like a tour through vineyards in five European countries. Remember to make a reservation on the official website a month in advance! #RestaurantRecommendation #HiddenGemRestaurant #MichelinRestaurantAdventure #AtmosphereRestaurant #Finland #Michelin #FoodieMoments
