Here are some affordable and delicious restaurants in Paris, France 🇫
1️⃣ Paris Follie's Location: 74 Av. Kléber, 75116 Paris XHS Recommendation: A fellow traveler on Xiaohongshu recommended this French restaurant. It's located on the road between the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe. You won't have to wait long for a table if you don't go during peak hours, and the food is served quickly. The confit duck is exceptionally tasty, and the roasted potato chips inside are incredibly crispy. The steak is also good, although we accidentally ordered it a bit too well-done, making it a bit tough, but overall, it's very delicious. Cost per Person: €13-15 2️⃣ Valentino Location: 26 Rue du Bouloi, 75001 Paris Story: We originally planned to go to Bistrot Victoires, which many people on Xiaohongshu recommended, but the line was too long, and we forgot to make a reservation, so we found this nearby Italian restaurant. The grandmother inside is very charming. We ordered two set menus, including appetizers and desserts. I had Cannelloni Gratiné, which was filled with cheese and basil paste, and it was quite refreshing and delicious. Cost per Person: €20 3️⃣ La sarrasine Location: 12 Rue Jean du Bellay, 75004 Paris Google Find: This restaurant is near Notre-Dame Cathedral and I found it on Google with good ratings. The Google description says it's French cuisine, but the menu mostly has Indian dishes and American hamburgers, with very few French options. There weren't many people, and the staff member is an Indian man, but he makes authentic confit duck. The only downside is that the kitchen is right at the entrance, and it can be a bit noisy when cooking. Cost per Person: €15 4️⃣ Rachiny Location: 49 Rue de Lappe, 75011 Paris Google Maps Discovery: This Thai restaurant was also found on Google Maps with good ratings. It's located near the Bastille on a street with several food establishments (including several Japanese restaurants and Thai restaurants that look great). There's a Chinese staff member in the restaurant, making it easy to order, and even the foreign staff can speak a few words of Chinese. You can see the kitchen from the restaurant, which is very clean and hygienic, and there aren't many people. When we made a reservation, it showed that it was fully booked, but when we arrived, there were hardly any customers. We ordered squid (delicious), chicken curry (different from what we're used to in China, it seems to be made with chicken breast, a bit dry, but the curry is very rice-friendly, and you can choose the spiciness; we both ordered mild but it wasn't spicy), and mango sticky rice (very, very delicious).
