Here I come, Hollywood! 🌟 / HOLLYWOOD
We drove there and randomly parked on the side of the road. It felt like parking in front of my own house, but then I got a ticket for $68 or$86. I couldn’t believe it! I’ll never park randomly again. Later, I asked around, and it seems the options for driving are either to park at the foot of the mountain and walk up (which is way too far, my goodness) or to take an Uber up (I think this method works). Either way, it’s cheaper than a fine. 😅 ⛰ There’s no signal or internet on the mountain, so getting a ride down can be a bit tricky too… Either you walk, which feels like at least a 20 to 30-minute trek, or you go to the Griffith Observatory. Although the Hollywood sign is a bit small, there’s a parking lot at the top of the mountain with an hourly rate of $10. Plus, you can overlook the whole of Los Angeles. 🚗 📌 The Walk of Fame is incredibly long; I barely recognize anyone… If you want to find Jackie Chan, just locate Capital One. There’s a bunch of stars in front, including Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee, Michael Jackson, and Trump, etc. These places are super hard to park at, so you have to find a parking lot and walk over. It’s really painful for those who hate walking. 🚶♂️ The scenery and buildings along the road are so beautiful. I still highly recommend checking it out! #SeeyingDifferentScenery #ViewFromTheMountainTop #LosAngeles #Hollywood #hollywood #USA #California #CaliforniaTravel #WalkOfFame #VisitPlacesWithoutCeilings
