Hidden Gem: A Charming Mediterranean Restaurant in Oxford!

I recently discovered this incredible restaurant on Google Maps with a stellar 4.8⭐ rating. I booked a table worried it might be crowded, but ended up walking in easily – it wasn’t packed at all, filled mostly with locals and zero tourists. ❗️Best part: NO service charge! 😭 🍖 Grill Steak – £15 I randomly ordered a Caribbean-style steak, and it was amazing! It’s a 28-day-aged rump steak, served medium-rare by default. Paired with Trini-churri (a Caribbean herb sauce) – slightly spicy but not overpowering. Rich and full of flavour, truly unique! 🐟 Grill Fish – £17 Another blind order – grilled sea bream, another signature dish. The skin was perfectly crispy and chewy (not tough at all!). The sauce was made with thyme, Caribbean-style herbs, garlic butter, and lemon – super fragrant and juicy! 🍚 Both mains come with a side of beans & rice (£4.2 extra, can swap for fries). 🍹 We also tried two drinks: Mango Lemonade Sorrel Lemonade (tastes like cranberry!) Each £4.5 – both refreshing and delicious! 💷 Total for two: £49.4 (no service fee) – great value for an amazing experience! That 4.8⭐ is well-deserved! 📌 Turtle Bay Oxford 📍 12 Friars Entry, Oxford OX1 2BY #UK #UKStudents #Oxford #FoodReview #OxfordUniversity #OxfordTravel #UKTravel #OxfordFood #BritishCuisine 🍽️✨
