Hidden Gem: Upscale Italian Restaurant in South Kingston

Tucked away in a posh neighborhood, this upscale Italian restaurant is subtly unassuming. The service is top-notch. Upon entering, there’s a dedicated area to hang your coat and leave your bag, and you’re given a little card to claim your belongings. I went on my birthday without telling the staff, but they surprised me with “Happy Birthday” written on my tiramisu 🥺 The ambiance inside is lovely, quite spacious with two distinct sections: one with a white and green light-filled ceiling and another with an Italian flair. 🦐 Tiger Prawns Super tender, and the prawns are huge! 🥓 Beef Carpaccio Very tender, though the portion is on the smaller side. 🍝 For the main course, we had black truffle rice and lobster pasta. The black truffle rice was amazing, creamy and delicious, but the lobster pasta had few lobsters and was pricey; not recommended. 🐟 Roast Fillet of Cod The cod was so tender, a small portion, but delicious. 🐥 Baby Chicken The chicken was decent, not much bone, a good choice. 🥩 Ribeye Steak Ordered medium well, and it was so tender! Highly recommended! 🍰 The tiramisu was fantastic! It’s huge, just watch out for the chocolate powder, it’s easy to sneeze on it. 🍹 My drink was a mix of various berries with honey; I found it not too sour and quite pleasant, though a bit tart. Some of my friends found it very sour. My friend said “First Love” was quite sour. You can also ask them to mix drinks not on the menu; my friend ordered a peach-based one. 🧾 Average cost: £60 per person #London #UK #LondonRestaurants #LondonFood #BirthdayRestaurant #DateNightRestaurant
