Finally, New Orleans has an amazing Chinese-style bakery! π₯³ A super talented baker (let's call her the Cake Sister π©π³) opened her shop this year, so we no longer have to worry about finding delicious cakes in NOLA. Matcha Strawberry Cake π΅π Besides the daily fresh cakes, you can also custom-order birthday cakes β both gorgeous and delicious! ππ The owner is incredibly kind and truly cares about quality. On my first visit, she gave me two cake boxes for free because she felt one batch wasnβt perfect (but it was still delicious!). The second time, she was testing a guava and offered me fresh guava to try. She even refuses to make the popular matcha crepe cake when her high-quality matcha powder hasnβt arrived β thatβs dedication! π The shop is a bit of a drive β located in Slidell, about 30 minutes from New Orleans π β but totally worth it! I make a monthly pilgrimage just to stock up. Sometimes, if the ownerβs husband is available, they even organize group deliveries to New Orleans!
