๐Ÿ“Hidden Gem in Dublin | Blessington

Last week, I took a break and visited Blessington. It was way beyond my expectations! I was completely blown away! ๐ŸŒŸ ๐ŸšŒ It takes about an hour and a half by bus from Dublin. I started from UCD and took the S6 (towards the Square) to Tallaght Hospital. From there, I transferred to bus 65, which goes straight to Blessington. The ride is worth every euro! The 65 bus takes you up a mountainous road with stunning views, and you can see the entire town spread out below. For just 1 euro, itโ€™s an absolute bargain! ๐ŸšŒ โœ… The lake water is crystal clear, and itโ€™s also the source of the River Liffey! ๐ŸŒŠ โœ… There are vast areas of pristine forest, with the freshest air you can imagine. ๐ŸŒฒ โœ… Along the way, I encountered lots of wildlife: cows, sheep, and even deer๐ŸฆŒ. They were all so adorable! ๐Ÿ‚๐Ÿ‘๐ŸฆŒ โœ… Itโ€™s quiet and peaceful, with very few people around. Itโ€™s perfect for hiking, daydreaming, or taking photos. Every shot is a keeper! ๐Ÿ“ธ I loved that Blessington hasnโ€™t been commercialized at all. Itโ€™s kept its pure, natural charm, making it an ideal place to unwind on a weekend. ๐ŸŒฟ ๐Ÿ“Œ **Tips**: Wear comfortable shoes and bring some water and snacks. ๐Ÿ“ธ **Photo Spots**: The lakeside meadows and forest trails are absolutely amazing for photos! ๐Ÿ“ธ #Dublin #AroundDublin #NatureLovers #HiddenGems #WeekendEscape
