📍Hidden Gem in Dublin | Blessington

Last week, I took a break and visited Blessington. It was way beyond my expectations! I was completely blown away! 🌟 🚌 It takes about an hour and a half by bus from Dublin. I started from UCD and took the S6 (towards the Square) to Tallaght Hospital. From there, I transferred to bus 65, which goes straight to Blessington. The ride is worth every euro! The 65 bus takes you up a mountainous road with stunning views, and you can see the entire town spread out below. For just 1 euro, it’s an absolute bargain! 🚌 ✅ The lake water is crystal clear, and it’s also the source of the River Liffey! 🌊 ✅ There are vast areas of pristine forest, with the freshest air you can imagine. 🌲 ✅ Along the way, I encountered lots of wildlife: cows, sheep, and even deer🦌. They were all so adorable! 🐂🐑🦌 ✅ It’s quiet and peaceful, with very few people around. It’s perfect for hiking, daydreaming, or taking photos. Every shot is a keeper! 📸 I loved that Blessington hasn’t been commercialized at all.
