Hidden Gem in Paris You Can’t Miss! ❗️ Hôtel de la Marine
If you want to avoid the crowded tourist spots, I highly recommend visiting one of my absolute favorite places: Hôtel de la Marine! 🚩 Located right on Place de la Concorde, this building used to store royal furniture. After the French Revolution, it became the headquarters of the French Navy and only opened to the public in 2020! It's super close to the Tuileries Garden and the Louvre, so you can easily fit it into your itinerary for the day. ✨ Highly recommend renting the audio guide! Unlike typical guides, this one triggers stories based on your location, making it feel like you’ve traveled back in time to 18th-century Paris. The immersive experience is fantastic! The tour isn’t very long, but if you take your time with the guide, it’ll take about 1.5 hours to explore everything. The interior is absolutely stunning, especially the banquet hall! You really have to see it in person—there are some surprises! ✨ After the indoor tour, if the weather's nice ☀️, head out to the outdoor corridor. The black-and-white tiled floor and Roman columns make it a perfect spot for photos! From here, you can also get an amazing view of the entire Place de la Concorde, the golden dome of the Panthéon in the distance, and it’s one of the best places to snap a photo of the Eiffel Tower! 🗼 🎫 Tickets: Standard route - €17. With audio guide - €25 ⚠️ If you have the Museum Pass, entry is free! There’s also a lovely gift shop with lots of beautiful little items to browse. #HiddenGemsInParis #HotelDeLaMarine #CafeLaperouse #LVMH #TuileriesGarden #Paris #EiffelTower
