🍀 Hidden Gem in Rochester

🍀 Hidden Gem in Rochester|Dining at Good Luck, Where Flavor Meets Fortune! 🍀 Sharing a true hidden treasure in Rochester’s “little village”—Good Luck! ✨ While the name sounds like a simple blessing, this spot genuinely delivers on both flavor and vibe, bringing a real sense of luck to your dining experience. If you're looking for a place in Rochester with style and creativity, this is worth a visit! 📍 📍 Address: 50 Anderson Ave, Rochester, NY 14607 The location is indeed a bit tucked away, nestled among industrial-style buildings, but look for the large, eye-catching sign out front—with that and your GPS, it’s easy to find! 🚶‍♀️✅ I originally came for the drinks, and ended up having three and a half cocktails by myself… 🍸 Their cocktail game is seriously strong! I personally loved these two: 🍹 Knock on Wood: A beautiful balance of woody notes and citrus, smooth with a slightly sweet finish—the kind you keep sipping! 🍵 Black Cat Tea: A clever blend of tea and spirits, refreshing and not too heavy, great with appetizers. That said, one daily special (third photo) was a bit of a miss… it reminded me of fennel dumpling filling, but it was way too salty, so I wouldn’t recommend it. 😅 For food, we tried a couple of signature dishes: 🦆 Smokehouse Duck: Tender, juicy duck breast with a nice smoky flavor, not greasy at all. The roasted vegetables alongside—carrots, radishes, and kale—were especially delicious, caramelized and sweet, balancing the richness of the duck perfectly. 🐮 Oxtail Ragout: Slow-braised oxtail in a rich, savory sauce, fall-apart tender. Served with bread for dipping—a solid, comforting choice. Overall, Good Luck offers a modern American fusion style with moderate portions, ideal for sharing between 2–3 people. The atmosphere is industrial-meets-vintage, dimly lit in the evening, perfect for dates or catching up with friends. 💡👫 Expect to spend around $50–70 per person (depending on how many drinks you order). While that one special didn’t impress, the overall experience was still very enjoyable—and with a name like “Good Luck,” you really do leave feeling like fortune is on your side! 💯🍀 If you’re in Rochester and want a restaurant that’s understated yet full of character, with both food and cocktails done well, give Good Luck a try! Just remember to make a reservation in advance. 📅 #Rochester#RochesterNY#RochesterFood#Foodie#RestaurantReview#HiddenGem#CocktailBar#IndustrialChic#GoodVibes
