Silver Lake Reservoir 🏞️💧 📍Silver Lake Flat Reservoir, Provo, UT 🔶 Scenery: Spring brings stunning views along the way—forests painted in varying shades of green 🌲🌿. The higher peaks still hold some snow, creating a beautiful contrast ❄️🏔️. If you have time, continue hiking to Silver Lake itself. This reservoir is also the trailhead for the Silver Lake Trail. 📸 Photos taken in June 2019. 🔶 Route Details: 🔹 About 50 minutes from both Salt Lake City and Provo 🚗. Most time is spent driving—minimal walking required, making it suitable for all ages 👨👩👧👦. Not sure about current road conditions, but we made it fine in a front-wheel-drive car back then. 🔹 We passed the Timpanogos Cave National Monument toll booth 🚧—just said we were heading to Silver Lake and were let through. Bring your National Parks Pass if you have one! 🔹 Highly recommend checking recent reviews on AllTrails for Silver Lake Trail, Lone Peak Wilderness before heading out.
