Hidden Gem Restaurant in Montmartre, Paris 🍝✹

I recommend this charming Italian bistro located right at the foot of the SacrĂ©-CƓur Basilica in Montmartre. This family-run establishment has been around for over 40 years and was one of the first three pizzerias to open in Paris! A few years ago, the old man officially passed it down to one of his sons, but the quality has remained consistently excellent—everything is 100% homemade! 🍕 Besides their extensive pizza and pasta menu, I always ask about the plat du jour (dish of the day) whenever I visit. It typically features fresh seafood that the owner has sourced that day, like grilled octopus, various grilled fish, giant prawns, or seafood paella. Each time, it’s a delightful surprise that has never disappointed me, all for around €15, which is quite rare in Paris! My favorite pizza is the Pizza Chef with Spanish chorizo, and I usually ask for extra artichokes. I also love their truffle oil pizza with Italian ham (truffe jambon), and I often order the Scampi Fritti, which comes in a generous portion and is incredibly delicious. When I’m extra hungry, I go for the escalope milanaise, a breaded veal cutlet that's larger than my face! 😋 If you’re bringing kids along, you can choose the easy-to-eat penne with stir-fried vegetables—there’s enough to share, so no need to order a kids’ meal. The dad of the kids always runs a half marathon the day before and makes it a point to enjoy the hidden gem, penne amatriciana, a pasta dish with spicy sausage and bacon. 🍝 And don’t forget to save room for dessert! Their homemade tiramisu or caramel pudding is a must-try! 🍼 #ItalianCuisine #RestaurantRecommendation #HiddenGem #FoodieAdventures #GourmetCollector #ParisEats #ParisLife #Montmartre
