It’s Saturday, a day for relaxation and our weekly date night ✨ She had already booked the restaurant for our date - my favorite Spanish cuisine. After getting off the subway, we navigated through a maze of streets to find this place. 📍 El Pirata of Mayfair - Tapas Bar Español 🦐 Starter - Shrimp Balls Order this! Delicious! mainly because it’s so tender and the freshness of the shrimp is infused throughout the ball; we even ordered two servings. 🍖 Main Course - Pork Chop The marination process also makes it tender! It’s almost as tender as chicken; the grease is absorbed by the fried potatoes below, making the little potatoes oily and delicious. 🥩 Main Course - Ribeye Steak Cooked to a medium rare, paired with cheese crumbles and arugula, this combination of richness and freshness is quite balanced; the choice of meat itself is very 👍 🐙 Cooked Dish - Octopus This dish has a bit of a tangy flavor, offering a different taste; and when paired with other dishes, it becomes more harmonious! 🥃🍸 Seasonal Cocktail Give me! Order! Not sweet! It’s like they’re truly crafting the drink with care, not just masking it with syrup; there are many local grandparents at the bar who just come in for a drink, it’s quite cozy.
